Cadna A

Project size and calculation speed
Further performance improvements are based on up-to-date and innovative technologies. This includes a true native 64-Bit version, multithreading support when using multi-core computers and PCSP technology for distributed calculation.
CadnaA handling and modelling

One interface for the whole software, one file per project
The same concept is true when managing projects. One CadnaA file contains all the information, including geometry, bitmap images, tables, results at receiver points, façade evaluations and even noise maps… for up to 16 different scenarios regardless the size of the project. Complex project file structures and dependencies are not a problem with CadnaA.
modelling tools
Direct Facade Modelling
the height information of objects like buildings or roads, and the terrain model frequently come from different sources of data and consequently don´t match perfectly. In CadnaA there are two commands designed to avoid such a mismatch. One can fit the objects to the terrain while the other can even fit the terrain to the objects.
Digital Terrain Model Conditioning
The Sonocat can measure the sound intensity level and direction in 3D. This can be used to determine the location of sound sources, for example. It is not always obvious where the sound is coming from or which source has the highest contribution to the noise.
Particle Velocity
SVL is a useful measure of sound because it is directly related to the amount of energy in the sound wave. The higher the SVL, the more energy is in the sound wave, and the louder the sound will be perceived.
Sound Power
The sound power measurement solution provided by Sonocat is incredibly simple to use. You can effortlessly rate and compare various noise sources with precision, while also monitoring multiple additional parameters simultaneously.
